Story Behind The Make My Heart Smile Award
On April 5th I started up my day with a lovely surprise from Angie at Candle Junkie.
I'm so thankful & delighted that she thought of me for

The Make My Heart Smile Award!

Let me tell you how I met Angie for the first time. She was the one who lead me to an important milestone of my blogging days. By giving the "Sisterhood Award" to Candlemamma, I ended up receiving my first blog award. It's really amazing how blogging can build these lovely bounds! I have made it into a little ritual to go visit and thank the previous sender of my award sender for their wonderful appreciation. So, thank you very much, Angie. This means a lot to me :)!

Another ritual is to try track down the award creator. I like to find out about the story behind the awards. The inspiration which guided someone to create these remarkable appreciations.

This special award here is actually quite new. It was first published on 26th February 2009 by Debbie Wells at Trusting Him Forever...While In His Grip. According to her

I’ve only been blogging now for about 2 months so I am still a newbie myself, but I have met some of the nicest people in this new found world I discovered! Not to mention talented! I have created a blog award for my 10 favorite blogs and I am excited to introduce you to the people behind these wonderful places that *make my heart smile*

What an incredible newbie and caring woman! She was only blogging for 2 month and already came up with this beautiful idea. I have seen many Make My Heart Smile Award buttons in the search of her. One more proof how powerful blogging can be. Thank you, Debbie :).

About the rules:

1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.
2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.
3. Nominate 10 blogs.
4. Put links to their blogs.
5. Leave a message for your nominees.

I have done number 1 and 2. Thus, we have come to the toughest part for me, the nominations. I have met so many nice and talented people on the Web! As a matter of fact, I keep on meeting with amazing personalities who make my heart smile everyday. I think I can't just pick 10 blogs out of them.

Now let me tell you what makes my heart smile:

1. Encouraging friends who support me in my ups and downs
2. Thoughtful friends who appreciate me as I appreciate them
3. Friendly personalities who warm up my heart
4. Great memes and communities to lighten up the day
5. Inspirational photos to lift up my spirits
6. Every great harmony to add up some spices in life

This is my message

TO ALL AMAZING BLOGGING FRIENDS
WHO MAKE MY HEART SMILE DAY BY DAY
THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE :)

If you have found yourself in one of my lists or fit one of the criteria which makes me smile, then this award is dedicated to you from the bottom of my heart. I would love you to accept my deeply appreciation by grabbing this button and place it on your blog. Still there are no strings attached, I know that some of you might not be too fancy about buttons. The most important thing is that you know how I feel. Thank you and don't forget to smile at heart :).

10 appreciated note(s):

Hi Girlfriend!
I have this wonderful award. I want to thank you for thinking of candlemamma's candle blogs for this fabulous honor. I know that blogging awards can be fun and come from your heart! It will be rough getting ten bloggers for nominations. I am sure I can find them. If they care to have an enjoyable time with this award it will be entirely at their discretion;)
I hope all readers enjoy their life and can be blogger's who blog from the heart like you Rosidah.
Bye for now,
Candlemamma
