Puff Pastry PassionPuff Pastry Passion

Let me introduce you to some delicious puff pastry passion for this week. I really wish I could bake delicacies that make your heart melt. These pastries tasted so yummy. You can see three variants in the photo above. The ones in the upper row were filled with sort of a champignon creme. The ones in the middle row were filled with some meat pasta, while the last one was filled with chicken curry. I liked them all, but the upper row was definitely the highlight of my puff pastry passion. Happy week, everyone.

Mmmmmm, those look so good. I've had one similar to the chicken curry one before, but I think the texture was a bit different.

As for moving objects - they're really hard to capture! You have to be patient and lucky to get good shots. A good way to start is to shoot the slower movers first like snails or slugs or spiders in their webs. This way you build experience and get some interesting shots too. That grasshopper in my macro actually stayed almost completely still the entire time I was taking photos of it. I was really lucky because usually they hop away from me before I can even uncap my lens. I guess maybe it just really wanted to go back outside so it put up with me for a free ride.

If you have a camera with manual settings, you can set it to a fast shutter speed to freeze things in motion or a slow shutter speed to get motion blur. With an automatic camera, it's more difficult, but the best thing to do is to try and try again! If you have any questions about the process, I can answer them or point you to some informative websites. Have a great week and good luck!
