I think it gives an old-styled, precious and memorable look to these images. Don't you just love sweet memories :)?
Second, I thank my friend Faisal (again) for letting me use some of his photos. I know, I know... I should have used my own photo and I sure will. I've been thinking that this photo looked like a postcard when I read A Love of Postcard (an interesting comparison between 2 postcards featuring kangaroos) on my friend Pamposh Dar's blog from the Womens Blogger Directory, and a lot of people seem to agree with me... But now it is kind of official, since Marie Reed from Postcard Friendship Friday has mentioned this in my comment section :). You can link the button above to see or even join this blog carnival.

Indeed it has an 'old' feel in sepia. But is that bad? It feels like a slower time, like you just might take the time to actually relax under an umbrella on the dock. This is a fun picture!
