Water Fountain at Cihampelas Walk, Bandung
This long weekend (Monday was a national holiday), we decided to visit some of my mother's relatives in Bandung and take a little time out after the terrible loss of my aunt. The city is one of the most favorite travel destinations here in Indonesia, also known as Paris van Java or Flower City.
I used my mobile camera to shot the water fountain at Cihampelas Walk, a popular site full of shops and restaurants. It was really relaxing to stroll around and taking photos.
Since there are also some nice red decorations in this photo, I thought that I could join Ruby Tuesday #29 with Watery Wednesday #26. Have a great day, everyone!

Ehm, I couldn't resist to upload another photo for Ruby Tuesday. Meet the additional member of Power Ranger SPD posing in his new suit right after purchased in Cihampelas. After trying several costumes, like Batman, Spiderman and Superman... he finally made up his mind. I am preparing myself for the motorbike ride to his sister's school. People tend to stare, if you escort superheros. But, I think I'm getting used to it. So far I already went on a mission with Power Ranger Override and Iron Man. Does anyone know how to get a child out of his hero suit?

The arcade with that lovely fountain looks like a wonderful place to stroll around and enjoy the fresh air. I'm sorry about the loss of your beloved aunt. Thanks for visiting my RT post. Hi from sunny Cal...
ReplyDeleteLOL! I was thinking the combo shot was quite effective -- but I can SEE why you felt compelled to share that second Ruby! It's been a loooooong time since I've had a Power Ranger in my midst -- but this brings back FABULOUS memories!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea the Power Rangers were still around. They were popular when my kids were little -- 20 years in the cartoon superhero business is quite a feat. Look at the ones who've faded into obscurity in that same time period.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, I don't know how to get the kid out of the suit. You may just have to wait until it falls apart.
Lovely fountain and great Power Ranger for RT!
ReplyDeleteLOL... It has been two days now and the suite is still not off. I wonder how long it takes this time ;)
ReplyDeleteVery nice, red Hero Suite ! Let the child be a child !!
ReplyDeleteI went back to read the loss of your Aunt..I am sorry...Your Superhero is very cute...
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful share Rosidah! The fountain is just beautiful and your son as a power ranger is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI do so hope you are feeling better!! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!!:-)
Sorry for the loss of your auntie~
ReplyDeleteLovely fountain and fun shot of the wee red man.

I like the fountain too.
ReplyDeleteA great combo but the Super Hero is the priceless shot!!
ReplyDeleteMy Watery Wednesday is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.
I love fountains, this one seems to be a lovely one. The power ranger guy is cute too...
ReplyDeleteThe Power rangers, I remember them well. I remember when our daughter was in first grade (1994). At the Halloween parade of students, it had to be at least 30% Power Ranger costumes. It was amazing, but to see them so popular again defies description. Your son looks so fine as a Ranger!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteLove that fountain! As for the superhero suit, time, time, time, and be patient. It will come! My son had a pair of rain boots he wore constantly even to be. But it finely wore off after awhile. Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!

Your son look so cute in his Hero costume.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty fountain & I love the plants around it! Very nice!!!
ReplyDeleteYour little Power Ranger is adorable! Enjoy the ride with your superhero. Might be just the little lift you need. ; )
ReplyDeletepretty fountain
ReplyDeleteI love the Super Hero
Your first one is a great shot for a combo, but I'm sorry, the Superhero takes it as the winner this week ;-)
ReplyDeletePlease accept my condolences on the tragic loss of your beloved aunt. What a waste. Yes, all must take care on the road.
ReplyDeleteAnd on a much happier note, I totally love the red power ranger suit. It rocks! He will never take it off, get used to it. So cute!
I think you are right Sara, it is day 3 now and no signs for turning it into the laundry.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your condolence.
I remember my family members and I had to fight with my son to get the yellow PowerRanger suit off him!! He wore it for days!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your son will allow you to wash it hahahahah :)
He is really so proud there wearing that suit! he is like my son who loves to wear spider man suit.
ReplyDeleteMy condolence. I hope and pray for peace and comfort to your family.
That fountain is really pretty.
I think it would be great fun to join forces of two power rangers and a spider man :)
ReplyDeleteNice looking water fountain and send my regards to our superhero..:)
ReplyDeleteIt's true: on long trips you need a travel camera ... water is good.
