Earth Day 2010

This is not a pretty sight, I know. That's why I really hope this shot will not be the permanent face of our future earth. Today is Earth Day 2010, but we should be aware of our beloved mother nature every day. Because it takes more than just a day to care for the environment. You can visit the given site to find some Earth Day events, core issues or inspiration to take action. Nevertheless, I think that by now almost everyone should be more informed on how to improve and save our environment. We just need to focus and get more into action.

    humankind would do the greatest favour to our poor overpopulated earth if we stopped multiplying like rabbits. decimating the population would reduce many problems although i admit it only takes one lunatic with enough power to blow up the whole thing (sorry, i'm not being very optimistic about the future )

    Sad reminder ... much like the photos I shared recently at Sacred Ruminations of birds affected by oil spills. My prayer is that we will become more mindful of the choices we make to protect our precious world.
