This antique elephant lamp welcomes you at the reception desk of the Royal Safari Garten Hotel & Restaurant. I should have taken a macro shot focused on the elephant parts, so that we could see the details of the lamp in close up. Too bad, I still wasn't feeling quite well at that time. My husband took me, my Mom and the kids to this lovely place to relax and have fun. Being next to nature always helps to lift up the soul, and it was good for me and my Mom's recovery as well.

ReplyDeleteIt brings back some memories for me of my Grandpa and Grandma. They were always bringing me ceramic statues and once I don't remember what they brought me but to my brother was a set of three little elephants. I was young, maybe eight or nine but I found those elephants mesmerizing. :)
