Deception | Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Doldrum HaikuThanks to Jenn for this week's theme

Deception

A stab in the back.
Unveil script of hidden mask.

No worth trails of tears.

~RA

Being deceived by someone you care and trust might hurt like crazy. It reveals a true face behind the mask that you have never expected before. Your bubbles of trust burst into thin air. How could someone so close be that cruel to you? Like it or not, these are some of the facts to deal in life. But, why shed precious tears for a person who doesn't even care about your feelings? It is exhausting and not worth at all. Just look at the bright side that now you should have become aware about a deceitful character to be erased from the past or at least to be put into boundaries. Surround yourself with healthy relationships. Family and friends who really care. Life will be much more brighter.

The meme basics:

Haiku is simple!
It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively
(a great way to use your fingers!)

I don't create poetry, I create myself,
for me my poems are a way to me.

~Edith Södergran

Keep a poem in your heart.

  3. I hope you haven't been deceived much in your life, it can be shocking to see another side of a person you didn't realise existed.

So true that it's not worth getting upset but so difficult not to.

    Have a lovely week,
    Jade

  5. It is heartbreaking when someone you trust turns out not to be worthy of it.

  6. Your haiku is so sad but the paragraph underneath is really uplifting! It's a great reminder that you don't want people like that in your life!

  7. Agreed, but sometimes you need to cry those tears to heal yourself, even when the person who caused the hurt isn't worth the energy.

    Well said!
