The Story Behind The Humane Award

Tuesday, July 07, 2009
I am so thankful and delighted that my dear friends
Carleen at Life, Liberty and Good Coffee & Thom at Thom's Place 4 Well Whatever thought of me for the

The Humane Award!

I was real lucky to find Eleni, the award creator at La Femme Readers in short time. This is what she says about the award:

I made the Humane Award in order to honor certain bloggers that I feel are kindhearted individuals. They regularly take part in my blog and always leave the sweetest comments. If it wasn't for them, my site would just be an ordinary book review blog. Their blogs are also amazing and are tastefully done on a daily basis. I thank them and look forward to our growing friendships through the blog world.

Thank you, Eleni!

Now, for passing on this award. According to the rules, whoever has been nominated must now nominate 10 bloggers they feel deserves the Humane Award. I think some of you know by now, that I'm always having a hard time to choose. There are so many kindhearted Bloggers in this Blogosphere!

If you regularly take part on my blog and I am a visitor of your blog, then this award is dedicated to you from the bottom of my heart. I would love you to accept my deeply appreciation by grabbing this button and place it on your blog. Still there are no strings attached, I know that some of you might not be too fancy about buttons. The most important part is that you know I am very thankful to you and look forward to our growing friendships through the blog world.

20 appreciated note(s):

Being grateful, thankful and appreciative is all that counts in our human lives.

I, for one, have overlooked the account of others who are as equally as thankful, grateful and appreciative as we are.

I am very THANKFUL to have met you in the bloggosphere Rosidah when most of the people I thoughts were friendly are not really they seem they are.

So, am counting my Blessings and YOU are one of those BLESSINGS, one with a Kindred Spirit.

I will accept one as you said, it is really very hard to choose.

Please give me time to post this in my Appreciation Award blog. I lost count with ones that come from you.

How are you Rosidah? I hope you are feeling better than before. I had been in your state before and understand what it's like. Miss you but do take care of yourself first. I moved this Award to my Appreciation Award Blog from my Adage, Maxim and Quote.

And I like your principle in handling this Award in fairness to all bloggers.

You set a good prime example to all. And it was good to read others doing the same.

Please get well soon. Hugs from down under.
