It has been a while since the last time I joined A Thousand Words In Idioms & Camera Critters and I have missed participating in these memes a lot. I'm still looking forward to the moment, where I'll be able to blog again like before... But for now, I'm happy to publish this post.

As long as people have been around, they have tried to communicate with each other. As a means of getting the message across as clearly as possible, idioms and sayings have found their way into our language. Now, because "a picture paints a thousand words", I thought it would be nice to make this a photo challenge. The idea is to choose an idiom, or a saying, (even slang is allowed) and illustrate it with a picture.
From now on everybody can join in. No need to follow the alphabet, just pick two idioms and illustrate them with your pictures. Grab that camera or look in your archives. Just be creative, that's all I'm asking! And don't forget to have fun and visit one another, okay?
So here we go...
I got my idioms from A Phrase A Week for this post.

I thought it would be okay to submit this link for this week's Camera Critters as well, since each shot shows a critter on camera. These photos belong to our family archives. I took the shot of the bee at our yard, while the black swan was taken by my husband at our vacation to the Safari Garden Hotel & Restaurant Safari Garden Hotel & Restaurant. Have a wonderful week, everyone! Miss you all.
18 appreciated note(s):
Great choices for the idioms. I didn't know the one about the bees! such busy ones :)
Happy Wednesday!
Well Rosidah, this post truly is the bee's knees! Excellent work, and I can see no reason why you would not submit this for camera critters as well, the pictures are stunning. That black swan is so beautiful, and that bee is visiting very different flowers than the ones we are used to see them on! I had no idea how that idiom found it's way into our language even though we use it in Flemish as well. Thanks for including that link!
Thanks for playing Rosidah, I'm so glad you joined in again. Have a great week
