It is time again for some Weekend Reflections hosted by James at Newton Area Photo and Friday’s Fave Five hosted by Susanne at Living To Tell The Story.
I really like the thought of thinking back over our weekly life. It is a good way to reflect and find these hidden gems of blessings. There are a lot of things I am grateful for this week. It has been rough but thankfully turned out fine. My Friday’s Fave Five and Weekend Reflections are:
1. Good blood test and USG results, but most of all my family is safe and sound after the disastrous traffic-light accident. My mother also made great progress. She can take little walks in the morning and the evening without being held. She also can sit in longer periods. Not as long as she used to, but we are getting there.

2. My new camera, the Canon EOS 500D. Mr. Hubby had bought it for me on our 10th Anniversary, but it just arrived this week. The KYOCERA belongs to my daughter now, and I hope that she will take good care of it. I think she will. She decided to create a blog to post her photos and thoughts. Below is a snippet of Amalia's Heart. She is still working on her English. It would be lovely if you could give her some encouragement. Thank you.
In my mosaic above, you can see some new photos of my weekly blessings I have taken. The Canon EOS 500D results are sharper and it is easier for night photography, although it can't zoom as far as the KYOCERA without a special lens. I'm really looking forward to taking up photography again. Things are settling down and I'm beginning to have more time. I've also been learning about Photoshop. I would love to know how to make these beautiful digital scrapbooks I have been seeing all over the Web. But I haven't quite figured it out.

3. The photo at the left bottom of the mosaic shows a Rubik. We are having a lot of fun trying to master it. There are amazing YouTube videos showing people solving it in a very short time. We are still far away from this and as a matter of fact, our Rubik hasn't even been solved yet... Anyway, it's great for the whole family.
4. I have been able to cook by myself again. Staying at the hospital for a long time has made me rely on someone else to help me. Not that I'm a great cook, but I kind of love it. Besides, I can take some photos after it. Can you see the little muffins at the right bottom of the mosaic? My 9-year-old daughter made these muffins with her friend when I went to the hospital to take some health tests. They made it all by themselves without any help, except following a recipe. She called to tell me about this, and I was stunned when arriving at home. They were the best muffins I have ever eaten, although a little bit too hard. I think these girls did a great job.
5. Last but not least, this morning I came upon this beautiful song called Everything performed by Michael Buble. I love the lyrics and of course Michael Buble! Dedicated to all beloved ones in my heart, you make me sing [...] you are my everything. Have a great weekend, everyone.
Thanks for the upload Michael Buble TV

Rubic's cube brings back so many memories. I couldn't do it, my younger brother could. I just saw a show on TV this week - people doing it with their toes.
