Friday Shoot Out for May 29: Water

Friday, May 29, 2009
This week's assignment was by Hensly at Lucky We Live Hawaii:
Next weeks theme will simply be WATER. I'll leave it up to everyone's imagination on where they go with the theme! Mahalo!

I really love watery scenes. So here we start with one of my most favorite objects: The raindrops. I don't know why, but they seem so comforting to me. I took this shot at my parent in laws living area.

My kids love to go swimming. That's why our local swimming pools have become one of our regular destinations in a week. My son still learns how to swim in the big pool, while his sister has already been participating in several swimming competitions.

This is an unique shower at one of our local swimming pools.

Indonesia has some lovely beaches. Here are two of them.

We also have other lovely travel destinations with watery scenes.

Lovely site! I clicked over from Betsy (from Tennessee) for a visit. I will come back often!

You have such lovely pictures - the one of the beach/umbrella is just wonderful!

Great shots, both from your camera - and your friends! But I love the first shot with the droplets! That is a very good closeup - and a lovely, fresh looking plant!

Wish you a great weekend - hope you are feeling better!

What a lovely series of photos. Water is so fundamental to life in so many ways and nurtures not just the body but the spirit.

Thank you so much for you kindness in stopping by to acknowledge my brother's death.
