How to Add Emoticons Into Your Post

Friday, May 15, 2009
Did you notice the emoticons in my previous post Love Is A Shelter? My friend Bonnie once has been asking me about them in my comment section, but at that time I had no clue at all.

So I went on a quest to get some answers, and landed on this great Free Smiley site. They have a lot of codes, like forum codes, HTML codes, URL's, MSN and AIM codes. Just pick your choice! To add these emoticons into your post: All you have to do is copy and paste the html codes into your Edit HTML section in Create Post. The guys there are genius, right!

What I still have to figure out is how to get these emoticons in a row with my sentences, because they seemed to be hoping out of line. They looked fine at the original site! There must be something to do with my post settings or... hmm... Well, now I'm getting confused again. That's why I have chosen the easy way and placed the emoticons below my sentences. May be someone can help me? Have fun and a great day!

PS: You could check out this post to Add Yahoo Messenger Emoticons to your Blog. Since I'm not a YM user, receiving these html codes is a great help. Thank you, Kang Rohman.

Yeah Rosidah, they look so cute and huhuhu I'll try to add later. Am learning again here in your blog. You have so much patience (which I don't have much) in publishing many ways to beautify blog pages. BTW, the photo on my post today is still one of my vacation photos. Not the beach at the backyard.

I love emoticons. I only wish we had the cartoon ones for my work email! Or even my personal email. The only place I end up using them are on two forums, and I find they always add to the posts, and tend to make them funner.
