Beautiful shot and you're right the trash is a shame. I don't know why people are so thoughtless and irresponsible.

Anonymous said...

Oh yeah, that is so true. There are a lot of inconsiderate people out there who throw their thrash every where.

Anonymous said...

hhhmmm...so sad with the trash so visible on the sides.

Nice stream but sad commentary on the human race.

This is so common in the Philippines, this stream is not as bad compare to other streams I know in my province, they stink too.
The stream is so pretty. Hey, My hubby has his own blog. Thanks for visiting his; I dont have entry this week.
:) hope you have a wonderful week.

hi, my dear online friend,I am so honored to accept your award. thanks and really appreciate that:-)

I got mad when I see people simply throw rubbish anywhere they feel is convenient to them.

I agree with you. We need to start taking care of our environment if we want to have something left of it in the future.

I so agree. I get so angry when I see trash along the highway. I see spots that would make a great photo if it weren't for peoples negligence.
It is a pretty little meandering stream!

I totally agree. A few of my wildlife posts deal with the effect humans have on nature (including the one you just commented on - see my followup comment). It is very sad to see people who don't care about the environment.

You're right! It's a pitty men himself demolishes his own environment.

Such a pity that people just doesn't have the discipline and just be littering wherever it's possible. Look at that beautiful water, it could have been more lovely if without the traces of garbage on the sides.

Even with the trash, it's a beautiful shot; I find it amazing that people cannot see the beauty that they mar with their carelessness.

Great shot, great message. Thanks for sharing!

I am sorry to hear about the trash. Makes me sad, too. When I photographed our brook yesterday, I skipped the spots with trash. There wasn't as much as you have here.

A pretty stream you captured.

I know how you feel, it's a very sad sight. How we humans are not doing our part in keeping the environment a clean and healthy place to live in.

Yup, that's my yellow power ranger :P
He was trying to fish with his small net :)

I always wonder why people have to pollute such beautiful places.

Thank you so much Rosidah for your kind words. And you were once again the first.

I just now realized that I had jit an I instead of and O on the first one.

So I have that corrected now. I hope you have a fantastic day!!

Oh Rosidah, so true. And we can help in little ways. I live in the hills so most of my neighbors walk a lot. Whenever we see trash or plastic bags blowing in the wind, we pick them up and throw them out. It's a nice team effort. :)

I agree with you!! It would be a lovely stream!! I have decided I am taking a bag along tomorrow when I walk the dogs, to collect some of the trash the winter has left behind!

Nice spot to focus your attention on for environmental reasons.

Check my blog. I'm starting a new photo meme called Think Green Thursday. It will start on April 22, Earth Day and this is just the type of photo and message that I'm looking for participants to submit!

Good job. Thanks for caring about our natural world.

That is so sad that it has trash in it. Respect for the land we live on... where has it gone! And don't people realize they can survive precious little time without water!
