Ruby Tuesday: Kids Pool Ornament

Ornament at Local Swimming Pool, 2009

This is an ornament at one of our local swimming pools. Do you think that we can call it a water spring? It is not at the same place where I took the Colorful Slide for Yellow Mellow Monday. I like these places a lot, because they are cozy and have some interesting views. My kids just love to swim. That's why we go on frequent visits almost every week. Like now, I'm off to the pool again. Happy Ruby Tuesday, everyone :).

Thanks for hosting this great blog carnival, Mary

It's a water mushroom! We have one of those at our local pool down the street. I'll have to go back and see what color it is. Happy RT!

Interesting arrangement... the shower's in the pool!

Must be a whole lot warmer where you are than it is here if you're heading off to swim today. I can't imagine even thinking about swimming today!

This must be the same place where you took the slide shot.
I love the mushroom shower!
Kids must love it at this pool.

Thanks for visiting my red cardinal.

A mushroom shaped water inlet is unique and add style to the utilitarian pool. It adds a whimsical touch, making the pool that much more fun for kids (of any age!)

It's things like this that make me think I want to be a little kid again, so I can go play in the rain underneath the big red mushroom!

I would totally sit under that mushrooom all day. Stay nice and cool but still be in the sun. Seems like the ultimate "water spring" for the person who can't decide whether she wants to be in or out... ; )

oh my that would have felt so good about 4 hours ago. It was hot here today.

But, now I had to turn on the heat. It looks fun and I can't wait for summer.

That's when I get to visit my grandchildren and we go to parks like these and have a ball.

wonderful and fun entry Rosidah. Also thanks for visiting me!

This mushroom-shaped pool decoration is quite cool indeed. Adds a whimsical touch, like my husband said. ;-)
